We just wanted to let you know once again how happy we are with APM. Our property manager, as you know, is wonderful. She is very responsive to our call and e-mails. This condo does not restrict the number of people who may contact the manager, so she gets more e-mails and phone calls than anyone can count, and responds to all promptly. This is greatly appreciated! We have had some challenging events this year, and all have been met and handled well and again, promptly. Indeed, some problems have been well on the way to being solved before we know they exist! APM Benefits FSC


Anchor Property Management (APM) has been serving FSC for a little over a year now, and FSC's Board has pronounced itself very pleased with the relationship. Under the direction of the Board, the APM team (headed by APM's Barb Beaton) has relieved the FSC Board of many of its routine duties. APM now provides our monthly financial report, pays our bills and monitors our budget. It has hired Putters Green to mow our lawn and Coverall to keep the building clean. Not quite so routinely, APM is responsible for hiring the appropriate businesses to (here's a technical term) fix stuff when needed. All with the approval of the Board, of course. This arrangement benefits FSC in a number of ways. First, using APM more than pays for itself because of their buying and bargaining power. And when APM calls the plumber, the plumber comes promptly! The Board has more power to insist that things be done as it specifies when it's paying its workers. Having APM keeping an eye on things year in and year out assures continuity and saves having to repeatedly break in new volunteers (and new Board members!) Finally, the Board hopes that as FSC members recognize how much drudgery has been removed from the Board members' job descriptions, more FSCers will decide to run for the Board. The APM team -- Barb, Ron (finances) and Corey (maintenance) -- respects our anonymity. They have no dealings with any FSCers except Board members and a few committee chairs. FSC is lucky to have them. And smart!
